What Are The Exercises To Avoid In A Fitness Center For A Person Cured From Cervical Spondylosis?
I had a problem of cervical spondylosis which was cured 1 yr ago. I wish to join a fitness centre to improve my physical condition. What are the exercises that I avoid in a fitness center. Shall I work with low weights? Please guide me.

You want to avoid any excercise that will require you to flex your neck forward forcifully or abruptly. I would not recommend tossing a set of barbells over your neck and to squats or do too many sit ups unless you can keep your neck straight or in a neutral position. Also, if you do any exercise that brings on your neck pain, do not continue.

Huh? Cervical spondylosis is NOT a diagnosis - it is a ‘finding’ on an Xray. How were you “cured”? And, what was CAUSING the spondylosis? And, what symptoms were you having that were blamed on the spondylosis?
